Qualifying for the Racenight Final Regatta

To qualify for the Racenight Final Regatta you must have raced at least twice in the same boat and, if the boat is NOT a solo boat, with the same paddlers. Those qualifying races establish an estimate of your average performance and your placing in the Final Regatta will be based on how well you paddle in that regatta compared to your average results. The Final racenight Regatta will be held in mid to late September so there's still lots of time to qualify

Christoph Weber( M ) qualifies in OC-1 Hurricane and Average Speed = 10.439 km/hr. ( Based on 4 Qualifying Races)

Alex Vandenham( M ) qualifies in OC-1 Huki V1-X and Average Speed = 10.171 km/hr. ( Based on 3 Qualifying Races)

Alex Vandenham( M ) qualifies in OC1 Wenonah and Average Speed = 9.995 km/hr. ( Based on 3 Qualifying Races)

Francis Tavenier( M ) qualifies in OC-1 Huki V1-B and Average Speed = 10.096 km/hr. ( Based on 6 Qualifying Races)

Lucy Mortimer( W ) qualifies in K1 Club and Average Speed = 9.229 km/hr. ( Based on 2 Qualifying Races)

Thomas Markhauser( JrM ) qualifies in C1 Club and Average Speed = 10.473 km/hr. ( Based on 2 Qualifying Races)

Race Categories for the Racenight Final Regatta

There will be prizes for the following:

• First, second and third prize for handicap winners - for both Male and Female paddlers
• First, second and third prize for any boat category for Male and Female paddlers IF there are at least 5 participants
• For example Men's C1 , Women's K1 , etc
